Settling In

I am pretty happy all and all with my living arrangements here in New York. My apartment is located on the south end of Central Park. I am 2 blocks from 5th Avenue (Shopping!) and 1 block from the new Time Warner building on Columbus Circle which has a Whole Foods and some pretty great restaurants and shops. My only beef is the smell coming from my neighbors apartment. It is a mixture of smoke and really bad perfume. Anyway, a small price to pay for all of this adventure. Today I walked over to Saks to find some new black boots. There was a pretty big sale going on and there were no black boots to be found. Next stop, H&M to see what all the hub bub was about with Cavalli's affordable new line. There wasn't much left, but what was left was really nice. Very well tailored pants with his trademark leopard print lining. I tried on some great holiday pants with a satin stripe going down each side. They would of been a great piece to have in my closet but too small. Maybe it was the yummy cupcake I ate yesterday? More later.
