Today I woke up to a beautiful morning here in New York. It is a bright and sunny day. It is absolutely exhilarating to be here in the city on Christmas Day. Tomorrow I am traveling back to Aspen but today I am traveling to Long Island via the LIRR to visit a friend. This small journey reminded me of my childhood. The homes, people and the importance of family on holidays. There were two adorable children and I loved watching them open their Christmas gifts. I was happy to meet Sophie and her little cabbage patch doll. Sophie who is 8 and this little doll had matching outfits and were just adorable. While visiting this lovely Long Island family I realize how exotic my life has become. I absolutely love to live outside of the box and to create my life by my own rules. Merry Christmas to me!
